She Conquers Dirt is a Bower Power Hour interview series that was created to give ladies in offroad motorsports a place to be truly seen, heard, and celebrated.  Ladies Offroad Network started in 2016 as a community built around connection, shared stories, and unforgettable trail experiences...and now it has grown into something even bigger. As we head into 2026, we’re celebrating 10 years of  bringing those stories, and now to a new platform: podcasting. Hosted by Charlene Bower and a rotating series of incredible hostesses, She Conquers Dirt dives into the real, raw, behind-the-scenes journeys of women you’d likely never hear about otherwise. From race prep and career pivots to personal sacrifices and life-changing moments, these conversations go beyond highlight reels...they capture the heart, grit, and truth behind what it really takes to chase a life built around dirt, drive, and determination. Charlene Bower is an off-road educator, storyteller, and industry advocate with over three decades of experience in the off-road world. She is the founder of Bower Motorsports Media and Ladies Offroad Network, where her mission is to build confidence, capability, and community through hands-on education and real-world adventure. Charlene has worked alongside many of the top racers, brands, and events in the off-road industry, helping shape marketing, storytelling, and education strategies that support long-term growth and responsible recreation. In 2016, she founded Ladies Offroad Network, creating a welcoming space for ladies to learn off-road skills, build independence, and connect with others who share a love for adventure.

She is a certified off-road trainer and an advocate for keeping public lands open through education and stewardship. She has won multiple industry awards and podiumed at offroad competitions. Charlene is also the host of Bower Power Hour and is a frequent guest on other industry podcasts, where she shares insight, experience, and honest conversations about life, business, and offroad culture. Whether she’s teaching trail skills, hosting live education sessions, or telling the stories behind the scenes, Charlene continues to be a trusted voice and guiding force in the off-road community.

Avis Cook ~ January & February
Avis is wife to Rob Cook, mother of 3 great adult children, a grandmother, an adventurer since she was a child, podcast host and multiple year Rebelle Rally competitor as a navigator. She and her husband, Rob, have been in the off-roading and overlanding space for decades and love the adventure it brings. While she is usually found in the passenger seat she is anything but a passenger princess, she knows her way around a map and can spot you through a tough situation should the need arise. When not in the back county by vehicle they can often be found
on a dusty trail somewhere hiking or in the gym. Avis grew up in VA on the east coast and has only been living in the wild west since 2021 but is loving learning about all the new things. A few odd facts: she’s also a personal trainer and holds her part 107 Drone license.
