Thursday Stop 1

After driving or flying into Arizona, the ladies met for a house meeting and then went off on their first adventure to LetzRoll Offroad.  They got the opportunity to meet the whole crew and then learn how to set Yukon Gears from Jason!  Andrew talked about the business, showed off the Ultra4 Car 4493 and then gave the ladies an opportunity to use the ESAB Welders! www.letzrolloffroad.com

Friday Stop 1

Meeting other empowering women in the industry is part of growing.  The ladies got the opportunity to meet Bogi and take a tour of her personal garage where they built the Chevy Montage ~ All Girl Build.  After she introduced herself we went LIVE for a great Q&A where the girls asked her questions from every aspect.  www.bogisgarage.com

Friday Stop 2

Let's get dirty!  Jeremy Hammer from Fly-N-Hi Offroad welcomed the whole set of ladies with a challenge:  Changing a Tire on Beadlocks and Changing the Oil in a Jeep.  The girls got to watch how it was done first and then they broke into groups and got busy!  Jeremy also gave them a full tour of their facility that has recently been revamped!  https://bit.ly/2LbI4yv

Friday Stop 3

Corry Weller is a multiple series UTV and Pro4 Truck championship racer who is also a business owner.  She took some time away from her desk to give a tour of the shop, show the ladies the different race UTVs and talk with the ladies about Racing, UTV's, Crandon and more!  (We didn't have a chance to go LIVE)  www.wellerracing.comcorry weller ladies offroad

Friday Stop 4

The largest selection of offroad parts under one roof in the world is in Gilbert, AZ at SDHQ!  Serena was in the shop today, instead of at a race, so she gave the ladies a full tour of the shop. After the ladies had a solid 15 minutes to shop, they posted up where they had questions about something that mattered to them for Serena to answer...   sdhqoffroad.com

Saturday Stop 1

The ladies wanted to learn, so I hosted a Ladies Offroad Trail Training class at 4 Wheel Parts in Phoenix, AZ.  The 5 hour class features Recovery Tools and Techniques, how to use a Winch, Pull-Pal and Hi-Lift. Plus a tire segment on how to change and plug a tire.  Yes, you CAN lift a 37" tire up onto the lugs - watch how!  www.LadiesOffroadTrailTraining.com

Saturday Stop 2

Welcome to Ladies Offroad Network World Headquarters!  The ladies got to see where the day-to-day activity of Ladies Offroad Network happens, plus meet Piston, Oil and Spindle!  The ladies got the opportunity to either talk about their experiences with Ladies Offroad Network, or ask Charlene a question.  The next stop was to a huge party to celebrate Ladies Offroad Network's 2 Year Birthday!

Sunday Stop 1

Being a racer takes a lot more work than just showing up to race. It takes daily training to be in shape.  PJ Jones - Off-Road, NASCAR and Indy car racer - took us to the mountain that he does his cardio workouts on. The ladies hiked a 4 mile mountain and went live with their most inspirational quotes...

Sunday Stop 2

The last significant stop for a LIVE took us to the Verde River where the ladies got to get a UTV ride with PJ's Performance UTV Rentals.  When they were in the UTV's they were understanding their capability, and when they weren't they had their feet in the water and eating lunch in the shade.   www.pjsperformanceutvrentals.com

Read the Ladies Wrap Up Stories

Each of the Ladies was asked to submit their wrap up story from the weekend.  Not a turn-by-turn of the events, but what they really got out of the weekend, what they took away, what they learned. Every story is so different, because every lady is different.  Here are their stories:

Kris Bowe

My journey to the 2018 Ladies Offroad Challenge Top 10 began at the first Ladies Offroad Networkconvention last year.  I had limited exposure to Ladies Offroad Network but was invited by Angela Hinkley, and it sounded like a great opportunity.

If there is one event I recommend attending, it would be the Ladies Offroad Convention. Do it for yourself, you will meet some incredible people, learn and grow.  This could be the start of YOUR journey. My experience there opened my eyes to other opportunities and I started my journey of learning. ...

Our Ladies Offroad Challenge Top 10 weekend was spent with many wonderful people who graciously took time out of their busy schedules to teach and help us. I am truly grateful to everyone that contributed to our weekend in one way or another. I was really struggling with narrowing down what/who to write about. So after a great deal of thought, I figured I would share with you who I felt most inspired by.  Bogi Lateiner, Corry Weller, and Charlene Bower herself. These three women felt a need for change in their lives and worked hard to achieve it! ...

Wow, where do I even begin? I guess I can start by saying that the Ladies Offroad Challenge Top 10 weekend met zero of my initial expectations but exceeded so many more. It was a whirlwind of an experience with a lifetime of memories to keep. Life-long friendships were made, dreams were inspired, valuable lessons and skills were learned.  I don’t think any one of us ten ladies will ever quite be the same.
We went into this weekend completely blind. We were sent a packing list, a time for arrival, and that was it! ...

A little over 4 years ago I finished college and was in the ‘real world’ for about a year. I moved back home to Pompano Beach, Florida from my college town Greenville, North Carolina home of the ECU Pirates. When I returned home from over 4 years away I realized that most of my good friends were still away at college, moved out of town to start a new life, or were just not around anymore. Wanting to meet new people that had the same interests I had I looked online and found a local Thursday night Jeep Meet at our local Joe’s Crab Shack. I knew I would know no one there and man was I intimidated and scared to go. But, that night is where the next chapter of my life began. ...

The 2018 Ladies Offroad Challenge Top 10 weekend has come to an end but my story has not. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!

I believe in making daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals for myself! So, when I learned about the Ladies Offroad Challenge I instantly added it to this year’s goal list. ...

When I was chosen as one of the Top 10 for theLadies Offroad Challenge, I was very excited. It had been years since I was in Arizona, more years than I will admit to.

The big thing that stuck out to me over these 4 days, was the willingness of all the people in the industry to show us how to do different things around their shops. Not everyone is willing to open their shops to a group of strangers. I realized that this was an amazing group of girls that love all things off-road.  ...

When I signed up for the Ladies Offroad Challenge, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. I had only just heard about the Ladies Offroad Network, I had no idea what the challenge even was, but thought “Hey, this could be a great way to actually meet some of these people!” Only after I initially applied, did I look at what the challenge had entailed in previous years, and it only made me more excited. So excited, I HAD to listen to the LIVE@5 in real time to find out who made the Top 10, even though I was in France and it was 2:00 AM after a long day of work. I was a bit surprised and simply ecstatic when I heard my name called. ...

Every story has its own starting point, this story starts well before I had touched down in Phoenix, Arizona.  Mine is particularly the story of my experience at the Ladies Offroad Challenge Top 10 weekend.  I had just turned 30-years-old and realized that whatever I was doing at this stage in my life wasn’t working for me. I needed to make a change and I would attempt to do this by challenging myself to say “yes” to more opportunities, no overthinking, no “what if” nonsense, just “yes”!  ...

As I sit here and reflect on everything that has happened in the last couple months, I can't help but feel thankful! Thankful for the opportunities that Ladies Offroad Network and Charlene has brought into the light for us. Connecting ladies who have the same passion for offroading adventures. It doesn't matter if you’re a Jeep girl, Yota girl, UTV girl, or Motocross girl, we all have the same love for offroading. We all come from different backgrounds and all have different stories.  Which brings me to my story.
What brought me to this stage in my life? It has been a long journey of trials and tribulations. ...

I suppose I should just start from the beginning if I’m going to sum this challenge up. I knew of Ladies Offroad Network through a local event in Southern California.  I had been following them for almost a year on my social media network when I came across Ladies Offroad Challenge on Facebook I was somewhat familiar. I only entered on a whim and against the odds according to my surroundings. Yet, here comes the end of March and I’m headed to Arizona! My excitement made me sick almost. I arrived, I was scared because I know I was the youngest. To be honest I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to survive this challenge. ...
