Salt Lake City offers a variety of outdoor activities for offroad enthusiasts. On
Saturday morning we will leave the comforts of the convention center and head to the
Utah Motorsports Campus that is a auto, offroad, motorcycle, bicycle and kart racing facility that has multiple tracks including a dirt short course track used for Lucas Oil Offroad Racing and a man-made rock crawling area where W.E. Rock Rock Crawling Nationals have been held multiple times.
We will start our afternoon with a lunch compliments of Kneaders who's founder is all about supporting the ladies! The lunch will be hosted in the Ford Performance Museum that has hosted many celebrity appearances and is boasting at the seams with vehicles.
We have a full afternoon planned with different opportunities to try something new and step outside of your comfort zone thanks to the
Ford Performance Racing School. We will be split into groups and rotate through different stations. Learning is at the base of our day, but I guarantee there will be some huge smiles as you put your hands on steering wheels and try a new technique, take a moment to understand the dynamics of the vehicle in different settings, and appreciate the museum of historical cars and trucks.
In addition, Sarah Burgess will have her Lucas Oil Offroad Racing truck to do a walk-around focusing on safety and design. Michael Morrison will be teaching some Trail Repairs for different odd-ball situations!
Once our day is over, we will shuttle about a mile away to the Punishment at the Peak Demolition Derby! We will have Ladies Offroad Network VIP access hosted by Pro Demolition Derby Racer Amy Hunter. We will get a tour of the pits, check out a teams car then sit in the stands with 7000 other fans and cheer on the chaos!

The track measures 12.42 miles, over 156 turns, climbing 4,720 ft from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway, to the finish at 14,110 ft, on grades averaging 7.2%. It used to consist of both gravel and paved sections, however as of August 2011, the highway is fully paved and as a result all subsequent runnings will be on asphalt from start to finish. Wikipedia
