About Cora
Cora Jokinen is the President of Torq-Masters Industries, a U.S.-based manufacturer of locking differentials, drivetrain components, and ORIS Adventure Cooking an overland cooking equipment manufacturer. With a background in architecture, engineering, and project management, she stepped into the automotive manufacturing world when she acquired Torq-Masters and successfully grew the company into a respected leader in precision CNC machining and drivetrain innovation. Under her leadership, Torq-Masters produces products including the Aussie Locker, TORQ Locker, chromoly axle shafts, and ORIS Adventure Cooking Skottles. All are proudly manufactured in the United States.
Over the past 25 years, Cora has built a diverse career across off-road recreation and motorsports. She has served as a 4x4 club president, competed in competitive rock crawling, raced in Ultra4 and King of the Hammers, worked as a Monster Jam technical official, and won the Rebelle Rally in 2021 as was an original Rebelle in 2016.
Cora is also deeply involved in industry leadership. She has spent six years on the SEMA Business Women’s Network Select Committee, mentoring women and helping build pathways into automotive careers. Known for her technical expertise in metallurgy, drivetrain engineering, and manufacturing, she brings a rare combination of business leadership and hands-on mechanical knowledge.
Together with her husband Erik Jokinen, an accomplished business owner, racer and crew chief, she continues to innovate, expand into marine and overland markets, and champion opportunities for women in manufacturing and motorsports.
What We Think
“I appreciate that Cora didn’t start out knowing everything, she learned by asking questions, taking risks, and being willing to step into spaces where women weren’t always expected. Hearing her talk about building a manufacturing company while also showing off the products by competing in off-road racing commands it’s about having the courage to build, test and prove. Cora shows us that technical knowledge and leadership aren’t separate worlds…they work best when they come together.” ~ Charlene
