About Amber

Amber Slawson Ladies Offroad Network Amber Turner Slawson is a professional fabricator, off-road racer, and trailblazer in the Ultra4 racing world. Her journey into off-roading began with family trips to the Marlin Crawler Roundup, eventually leading her to purchase a Suzuki Samurai right after high school and enroll in a community college welding course to build herself. That single class ignited a full-time welding career and a deep-rooted passion for fabrication. Amber worked her way through off-road and general fabrication shops before joining Bomber Fabrication in 2021, where she helps build King of the Hammers winning race cars. From 2020 to 2024, she raced her Samurai at King of the Hammers, steadily improving and learning racecraft the hard way. In 2025, she made history by physically finishing first in the 4800 Legends class, becoming the first woman to do so, earning an official second-place finish after penalties. Inspired by Jessi Combs and deeply involved with the Jessi Combs Foundation, Amber is committed to lifting up the next generation of women in the trades. Grounded by family, fueled by grit, and driven by purpose, Amber believes in living fully, learning constantly, and making every mile count.

What We Think

"Amber's story is a great reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out...you just have to be willing to start, learn, and keep showing up. The grit, sacrifice, and heart she poured into chasing her dreams is inspiring in the most real way. What she shared about family, living fully, and making your 24 hours count is something I think we all need to hear." ~ Charlene
