"Cassandra Marie Carr, Coleman, FL – Cassandra is a wife and a mother to four beautiful children, two boys and two girls. She enjoys swimming, reading, and wheeling as much as she can - which means just about every weekend! She is the Co-Founder of ‘The Dirty Few 4x4 Crew’. In that group she organizes trail rides, maintains social media, and everything in between. She is also active in the Jeep Girls of Florida. Between the two groups she leads trail rides and helps with recoveries. She knows how to do her oil changes, rotate tires, change her brake pads and rotors, and can’t wait to learn more. She loves anything off-road!"

Cassandra Carr Ladies Offroad 2Tell us about yourself
:

Hello! I am thirty-one years old, a wife and a mother to four beautiful children. Two boys and two girls. I enjoy swimming, reading, wheeling as much as I can. I am a Co-Founder for my very own 4x4 Crew named The Dirty Few 4x4 Crew. In that group I organize trail rides, our social media account, and everything inbetween. I love anything off-road!

How long have you been offroading?

I bought my very first Jeep in October 2016. Almost Cassandra Carr Ladies Offroad 2two years now! There is absolutely nothing like it. Being on a trail takes me to my very own, special happy place. I feel at peace and completely relaxed, all of the stress I have in my daily life, just floats away.

How did you get into offroading?

My Husband!! He is a true "redneck" lol. I was born and raised in the city life. I met my Husband in 2008, knowing nothing about being offroad, it was all about the back roads life from then on. We spent almost every weekend riding around in the woods, swimming in the springs and pretty much just being one with Cassandra Carr Ladies Offroad 2nature. I fell in love. We got our jeep in 2016, I say our jeep... but in reality she is mine.

Tell us about your vehicle:

I have a Hypergreen with Hot Pink Accents 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport named Buttercup. She is mechanically still stock, Stock gears, etc. I know, I know... it's on my to do list. I have 2" coil springs and 2" coil spacers underneath her and for the moment 33s Cooper Discoverer Tires. I have a list a mile long when it comes to mods for her. Crossing them off one by one!

Cassandra Carr Ladies Offroad 2What has been your favorite offroad experience?

I would have to say Krawl'n for the Fallen. It's an event to support C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors). It's an amazing event and for a good cause. The trails are always a blast and the people that lead the event have the biggest hearts. Being a part of that experience is truly wonderful.

What was your most exciting offroad achievement?

Anything I do that's new is an achievement to me, but I would have to say, climbing hills at Hernando WMA. I had always been so timid about climbing or descending hills for fear that I would mess up. I got out there with a group of guys and I did it. Got out of my comfort zone and I handled those trails like a boss! I was super proud of myself!

Cassandra Carr Ladies Offroad 2What excites you about offroading?

EVERYTHING!!! The thrill of accomplishing new things and the people. I have met some of the most amazing people being apart of the offroad life. I have never felt so welcome. Everyone is so kind and supportive and that drives me. Perfect strangers are there to help you when you fall and I can't think of anything better than that.

What do you think is the most challenging aspect of offroading?

I think the most challenging aspect is getting out of my own head, honestly. Instead of thinking of all the "what ifs", I want to get better about telling myself that I can do it and go for it.

Which aspect of offroading do you think is the most fun?

Cassandra Carr Ladies Offroad 2The fact that it is never the same when it comes to offroading. I might go on a trail one day and it's full of sugar sand, turn around and go back the next day and boom, mud! It can present new obstacles constantly and I love that. It is definitely never boring.

What does prepping for an adventure look like in your world?

Let's see: snacks (definitely), drinks (yup), children (got them too), tow straps, tools just in case and I never, ever wheel alone.

What is on your offroading bucket list?

I would absolutely love to go to Moab one day. I see videos constantly and it looks amazing! Plus, I have Cassandra Carr Ladies Offroad 2the Jeep Badge of Honor App on my phone and I definitely want to start crossing those off one by one!

Tell us about who you go offroading with:

My family, they are always my co-pilots. My husband usually takes out his XJ and I take Buttercup. Then my crew, The Dirty Few 4x4 Crew.

What is a piece of advice you have been given that you instill in your offroading adventures?

Just Buckle Up, Buttercup! You can do anything you set your mind to.

Do you have anything else you would like to add?

I would like to thank every single person that has supported me so far in this journey, it means the world to me.
