When JP Magazine editor-in-chief Rick Pewe heard about the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge he was intrigued.  Then Charlene added that all the events the ladies would be participating in would utilize a slightly modified BFGoodrich Tires Jeep JK built and maintained by Impulse Offroad.  Now we had his full attention.

JP Magazine is all about Jeeps.  Old Jeeps, new Jeeps, rebuilding Jeeps, maintenance on Jeeps, trail rides with Jeeps.

While at the Bantam Jeep Festival, Rick Pewe took some time to join the Ladies Meet & Greet in time to host the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge announcement on the JP Magazine Facebook LIVE channel.  Both Rick and Charlene dropped internet at the same time, leading to a two part announcement:  Part 1: HERE   Part 2: HERE

The four events Charlene and the ladies will be attending including the Monster Energy Trail of Missions, BFGoodrich Tires 36 Hours of Uwharrie, the all girls Rebelle Rally in October, and the trade-only SEMA Show that is not open to the public. Each of these events will offer a unique challenging experience alongside Charlene, as well as a behind the scenes look at the actual events themselves.  The green BFGoodrich Tires Jeep JK named Frankie will be the vehicle of choice for the Trail of Missions and Rebelle Rally.  The red, white, blue BFGoodrich Tires Jeep JK named Ruby will be the vehicle of choice for the 36 Hours of Uwharrie event.

“As we move forward into the events, it is exciting to know we have folks like Rick paying attention to the ladies and the capabilities.  With every effort we are trying to reach more ladies that can be part of this program next year.  Yes, we are going to do it again in 2017!”
