What is the Ladies Offroad Convention?

The Ladies Offroad Convention is an action-packed, interactive 4-day weekend educating, motivating, and guiding all offroad ladies. Our 4th Annual 2020 Convention will now be held in Phoenix, Arizona   July 30 - August 2.  Ladies will have many hands-on opportunities to gain all types of offroading skills, learn and engage with other offroad ladies as they share their stories, and most importantly laugh the whole way!

  • 2020 has offered a series of challenges to overcome. Hosting our Convention in a safe and proper means is very important to me. Moving it from Grand Blanc Michigan to Phoenix Arizona was a hard decision to make! With majority of our Convention being inside to begin with, we will make sure that HEAT is not a challenge for our guests. Transferring from the Hotel to other air conditioned environments will be the only exposure. Guest count will be limited to 30, with each understanding that we are all engaging at our own risk. To include those that may not feel comfortable making the trip, but want to participate, we will have a dedicated streaming camera and packages with tools to feel like you are with us hands-on from home!

"As I travel across the country I am lucky to meet amazing offroad ladies, that all tend to say the same thing:  'I wish we had a safe place to learn' or, 'I don't know any other offroad girls like myself.'  Well, we are answering both of those requests all while hosted by my team and myself in a fun and exciting style that we love to provide!  This is a first in the Offroad Industry and I am excited to provide a platform for Ladies to shine!"  ~ Charlene

Stations

LOCON-Sliders-2018-Activities

Thursday we will start the activities as soon as you arrive and check-in with our welcoming staff at 10am.  There will be stations set up around the conference room where you can learn something new or test your skills.  Simple, fun but may also be challenging.  Of course we will add a little competitive spirit to the afternoon, so don't plan on coming in at the last minute.

Some examples of a station would be "How to put together a Pull-Pal", "How Lockers are Engaged, the Mechanics", "How to build a First Aid Kit", "How to Tie Knots".  Each station is built to be a casual 15-20 minute stop.

These unique stations will be ideas of, and hosted by, our 2016 Ladies Co-Driver Challenge Top 10, the 2017, 2018, 2019 Ladies Offroad Challenge Top 10, and our Brand Ambassadors.  You will get to meet with them and other guests that we will welcome in for the day.

Seminars

LOCON-Sliders-2018-Educate

On Friday, you will get the chance to attend 5 seminars that will be lead by key industry professionals. There will be hands-on and interactive portions to each of the seminars. Because we will be streaming these seminars LIVE to ladies at home, we will all be on the same education track this year. You will be encouraged to sharpen your skills or attack a skill that you may not have tried before!  All of these seminars will be INSIDE for 2020.

Past Seminar Topics have Included: "Recovery 101", "Recovery 202", "Recovery 303""Outdoor Photography", "How To Back Up a Trailer", "Racer Strategy", "Offroad Marketing for Business and Racing", "Vehicle Sympathy and Maintenance", "Navigation 101", "Offroad Business Round Table", "Kids on the Trails", "Cooking Outdoors", "Overlanding 101", and more.  If you have a seminar topic that interests you, please email us for consideration.

Adventures

LOCON-Sliders-2018-Adventure

The Adventure that we have planned is going to be awesome!  On Saturday morning we will leave the comforts of the convention center and go to a undisclosed location. I will tell you as we get closer, but as you can imagine with all of the industry that sits in that area, you will get to see and do things you would never have imagined that you would have the opportunity. Fitting the theme for the weekend, we hope that you will try something new and step outside of your comfort zone.
