bantam bfg bower media 1The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is a great event with a lot of history incorporated into the structure of a vendor show, playground and trail rides. The three-day event starts on Thursday with some trail rides including the Night Ops Mission #2016 where you are supposed to drive with only your running lights. That was a fun and new experience for me! I swear I only *kind-of* screamed once when someone jumped out at me!

Friday the vendor show opened and John and I jumped into the BFGoodrich Tires Jeeps to give folks an opportunity to drive them around and get a first hand feel of what the KO2 All-Terrain tires feel like on the ground. At the same time, the vendor show, the kids activities, how-to trainings and history lessons were taking place.

Late afternoon on Saturday, Chantelle from Topless for TATA’s and I hosted a Ladies Meet & Greet under the BFGoodrich Tires awning. The ladies that showed up were an amazing mix of co-drivers, Jeep owners, drivers and industry folks. I really enjoyed listening and talking with them about their paths into the offroad world. Everyone has such an amazing story!

It was so awesome to be able to finally bring that chapter to a close and head into the events! A special thank you to all the ladies that were part of the first year adventure!

Due to internet issues we had to split the winners announcement into two segments:
Live Announcement Part 1: HERE
Live Announcement Part 2: HERE

Thanks to JP Magazine Rick Pewe for dropping by and covering on their channels too! (Yes, he dropped internet at the same time!) Part 1: HERE   Part 2: HERE

Sunday kicked off the day with Muddy 5K Race, yes, there were missing shoes in the mud pit again this year! Because we started a little later at the course, I got the opportunity to enjoy the Omix-ADA historic vehicles and read more about the Bantam History.
