"I have been racing desert in a side x side for 10 years. We are a family team with my husband as crew chief and my son as crew. We race mostly Best In The Desert but have been dabbling in SCORE for a couple of years now. A: "We race about every other month and try to trail ride in our off months when we can."

All About the Ladies:
Q: Who do you look up to in the industry? Why?
A: "The Scheuler Family of Jagged X started racing side x sides a couple years before me. They have always been very helpful to us and encouraged us to race pro when we were racing sportsman. I can still call them anytime with questions and they help us as much as they can. They are a great off-road family."
Q: How do you feel as a woman in the offroad industry?
A: "It’s challenging but rewarding. I was one of the very first to race a side x side in BITD. I'm proud of all that I have accomplished and hope that I had some part of inspiring some of the women that are now in my sport."
Q: What changes have you seen in the off-road industry since becoming involved?
A: "Besides the obvious technology changes, there are a lot more women in the desert racing industry. I love seeing that! But it’s getting so big now, especially in side x sides. I miss the family atmosphere."
Q: Give us a story, about educating, guiding, empowering ladies in the off-road world:
A: "Most recently, we had a family approach us to build an ACE 150 into a race car for their 6-year-old little girl that has ADD. We built the raddest car out there and they have reported to us that it really helps to keep her focused. She is a natural! She wanted her car to be pink like mine! I have a picture of her first race hanging on my wall, next to mine. She warms my heart and I thank her family for picking us to be part of their race team."
Q: What advice do you have for ladies who want to get started off-roading?
A: "Just do it! Get out there and show them what you got. It isn’t easy. But it is rewarding."
