"I help run my family’s automotive business in San Dimas, Ca. with my sister Theresa Contreras, her husband Jason and my parents. I also volunteer a lot with local charities and with SEMA, I volunteer on a few committees, LTAA, SEMA Cares and SEMA Show Committee. I grew up off-roading with my family and every summer we would spend our family vacation in the Colorado, Utah or Nevada areas on Off-road trips with the Just 4 Fun Jeep club or the Drifters."

A: "Black."

A: "Popcorn, if you don’t consider popcorn a food, Then Tacos."

A: "Nope. No children."

A: "I have a 10-year-old chocolate Lab names Sashi, She goes everywhere with me, even to work every day."

A: "I try to take Sashi with me off-roading, but she is getting old and hasn’t been wanting to go with me lately."

Q: How old were you when you first started wheeling?
A: "My parents have been taking me wheeling my whole life. I can’t remember how old I was when I started driving."
Q: Is your whole family into off-roading?
A: "Yes!"
Q: Are you usually the driver or the co-driver?
A: "Both! It really depends on who I am off-roading with. My sister is better at driving fast and I am better slow."
Q: Do you have any traditions or rituals before going off-roading?
A: "Not any that I can think of."
Q: How often do you get to go off-roading?
A: "I try to go every weekend!"
Q: How did you get started in the off-road world?
A: "Basically, my family to put it simply."

A: "My favorite place to wheel in is Moab, UT."

A: "I sell off-road parts, mostly in the Jeep and Raptor market, but we do it all. "

A: "Oh so, so much. Lol. I don't think I could even list it all."

Q: What is your most memorable off-road moment?
A: "When I was 13 and we were on a trip in Colorado. That trail was the most beautiful but scariest trail that I have ever been on."

A: "I honestly can't remember!"

A: "When we spent 2 weeks wheeling in Colorado!"

A: "I don't think I can pick a favorite."

Q: Who do you look up to in the industry? Why?
A: "So many people, it’s hard to choose. Pretty much everyone that is out there living their passions and dreams. I love just being around positive people that motivate me, have a positive outlook on life and like to have fun."
Q: How do you feel as a woman in the offroad industry?
A: "I love being a woman in the off-road industry. I have met so many amazing people that are supportive of me and my family I love all the support from the off-road industry and community."
Q: Give us a story, any story, about educating, guiding, empowering ladies in the off-road, past or future:
A: "Really just helping others believe in themselves."
Q: What changes have you noticed in the off-road industry?
A: "I have always been involved, but I love that I keep seeing more and more woman to getting involved and not being afraid to go out and do it."
Q: What advice do you have for ladies who want to get started off-roading?
A: "Go out and do it!! You will have fun, remember just because you are a girl doesn’t mean the guys know more than you. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. I also watch training videos as well but be careful not to watch the at home ones that can give you bad advice. Take one of Ladies off-road Network classes that Charlene has to offer. I learned a lot."
