The Monster Energy Trail of Missions is hosted by Cameron and Heidi Steele of Desert Assassins. This year will be the 4th annual group truck adventure down the Baja peninsula and is presented by BFGoodrich Tires. The 2016 Trail of Missions will be visiting Panchos, San Borja Mission, El Rosario Mission Ruins, San Ignacio Mission, Punta San Carlos, Loreto and its Mission, San Javier Mission, aka "The Jewel of the Mission Trail", Comondu, La Purisima, Mulege Mission, and other truly spectacular locations as the group intersects with the El Camino Real, aka the Royal Road, as it winds down the Baja. The trip will be filmed for ABC’s World of X Games that will air Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Uwharrie, NC
36 Hours of Uwharrie is a four wheel drive and backcountry endurance challenge with an emphasis on self sufficiency that encompasses points based components to test mission completion strategy. Successful teams will employ redundant mobility systems to complete terrain and situation navigation for key point procurements. Hi-Lift Jack Challenges, Extreme Degree Hill Climbs, Low Visibility Fording and Self-Recovery Winch Challenges will be key tasks for each team. Teams must also complete a series of paddling and shooting objectives before being eligible to compete head to head in the “BFGoodrich Final Assault”.
