LON Wilderness First Aid 2022

The Ladies Offroad Network Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Certification Course is DIFFERENT than any other.  Yes, you get your standardized 2-day certification that everyone does...but like everything we do here...we push it one step further.  At the end of Day 2, you will be officially certified...but are you really ready to help in an emergency in the wilderness?  All of the examples used during the class are 'offroad related' and on the 3rd day, we participate in different scenarios to accomplish while keeping the life of the victim as our priority to help you apply what you learned!  Dan Barela and the team at RescueTNT are the knowledgbase instructors, Charlene is your hostess.

Bonus Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) Certifications will be added this year because we are in a hotel format. Each evening after dinner our instructors will host additional class hours on situational awareness topics.

Experience these learning sessions with other ladies that are similar in dedication to education and offroading. Lunch is included all 3 days and Dinner on Sunday and Monday. Transportation and lodging is easy. We will end with a certification ceremony.

We are excited to add the Wilderness First Aid Certification to build a Convention Week! We heard you ~ getting away for multiple trips is hard, so we built one big long event with everything you need. You do have the opportunity to just do the WFA training or add in other options.  To see the whole week CLICK HERE

This course has an emphasis on scenarios based in the offroad remote setting. This course is mostly hands on and incorporates many of the incidents seen in off-road accidents and off-road emergencies. Fundamental rescue skills needed for those adventures where you may be alone for hours until rescue arrives.

This course is great for people of all experience levels, and is best suited for those who recreate outdoors where EMS response can be expected in a timely manner (fewer than eight hours).
